Good food.
Your kind of weirdos.
We spend our weekends doing this, too. Running the smoker, working the griddle, firing up the grill, and giving an increasingly optimistic answer to “When do we eat?”
Some of the best times we could ask for happen right there. Friends pulling up chairs. Family crowding the kitchen. Somebody stealing a bite. Nothing particularly special on the calendar, just an excuse to get everyone together.
The food runs late sometimes. Things don’t always go to plan. There’s usually someone nearby explaining what they would have done differently.
We keep inviting them anyway.
Everybody brings something.
The one who makes enough sides for a second gathering. The one who considers standing next to the smoker “helping.” The one who wasn’t hungry, currently building a second plate.
These are our people.
Late Plate Club makes shirts for the cooks, the feeders, the taste testers, and the enthusiastic accomplices. For weekends spent feeding the people you love and accepting compliments you’ll still be talking about next weekend.
Wear your contribution to the chaos.
You’ve got strong opinions about seasoning, a reputation to maintain, and probably something on your shirt already.
We can help with the shirt.
